Should show in another paypal account more or less instantly.
So can he accept GBP in his US account ie has he added GBP as a receiving currency or did you send in USD?
Secondly has he received funds before ie set up a paypal balance account or accepted the funds to set one up?
Lastly check he has confirmed his email address and verified his paypal account.
