When I try to buy something online with my PayPal credit, it doesn't work.

Today I added some money to my PayPal wallet using an iDeal payment from my bank. However, when I try to pay for anything online (in this case in my browser), I keep getting the error message "Please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay." even though I have the sufficient amount of money in my PayPal wallet now. How do I fix this problem?

Hello @Zyste,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know that you're having issues while making payment. Each time you make a payment from your PayPal account it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved, If the system deems a payment to be a potentially high risk, the system may limit the payment options or block the payment from going through all together. We really wouldn't be able to say what may have caused in this case. However, potential triggers include a variance in the login location and computer ID, or multiple unsuccessful payment attempts within the same day, mismatching your personal information between your bank and PayPal account. In this case, I would recommend you to clear cache and cookies or try using different browser or device.

Regards,
Ayesha
