I mistakenly transferred money from PayPal to the wrong bank due to an input error and now need guidance on how to recover the funds. Despite correcting the initial error, the money was sent to an account with the same number but a different bank, leading to confusion about why this occurred. Note: I recall that it was automatically connected to the numbers I had filled out. I don’t have an account with the bank it was transferred to, and my existing banks are of the debit/savings type, not checking.
Funds 'may' be returned if the name does not match but that is only if you need to have matching names on bank transfers in your country.
Allow 5-7 days for that to happen.
Other than that paypal have transferred to the funds you requested them transferred to so you would need to reach out to your bank to see if they can help you.
