I made a transaction through PayPal. PayPal took money out of my bank account but there's nothing on my PayPal transactions history, PayPal pulled a large sum amount of money, then returned it and then pulled AGAIN but only slightly less.
I only a notification and hence why I was freaking out, the vendor says the money hasn't reached them talking to the customer support through messages has a 5 hour response space time between them, the only proof i have that money was pulled again is from the bank and a notification saying the initial payment is "pending" but despite that i still cant find it, what does

Hello @SaifAbuHelal,
Thanks for joining the PayPal Community Forum; welcome!
I understand your recent payment isn't showing on your PayPal account, and I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like your payment was processed as a guest checkout transaction, which is what happens when you're not logged into your account when the payment is processed. You still should have received an emailed receipt from PayPal for the transaction, and the receipt ID within that email will help Customer Support locate the transaction.
As the amount was readjusted, it sounds like the initial amount you saw was an authorization. An authorization is a temporary hold on the money until the merchant completes the transaction through their PayPal account. Once the transaction is completed, the amount can adjust a bit if they have items out of stock or if taxes or shipping need to be adjusted, for example. The final payment that was debited should have been your completed transaction amount.
I know the merchant mentioned they don't see the payment. It sounds like they might be looking at their website rather than their PayPal account. If it doesn't show in both places, they might have had an integration issue. If you need to file a dispute, please grab that receipt ID and reach back out to Customer Support through one of the options here. Phone Support should also be able to search for the payment using your full card number used for the purchase, if necessary.
I hope this helps and that you either receive your product or a refund soon!

Thank you megan for the response I really appreciate it 🙂
I was called by paypal customer support to be informed that the money will return and this was a reversal.
Talking about the details the most confusing part was that I had only a notification as proof, no history on my paypal account OR notifications on my email. at the time of the transaction I added my card and then immediately made the transaction when talking to the paypal call support he did confirm that YES a transaction had happened that there was proof on his end but confusingly none on my end, regarding if the money is hold I asked merchant to check their paypal they said there was nothing sadly, Ill ask them again about it but I doubt it was out of stock since its a digital course.
Ill continue asking the vendor
