Unable to use the funds in my wallet for online purchases.

Hello,

I am unable to make any purchases with the funds in my wallet. During checkout there isnt an option to pay with my wallet funds. I've never tried this method before but it seems that there isn't an option to change the preferred method from my debit card to wallet either.

You can't hold a balance in your country unfortunately.

What if i got a family member who lives in the states make an account for me, would that work or would it fail cause I'm still located in Egypt.

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting! Thank you for the information @kernowlass.

I understand that you're trying to make some purchases. As @kernowlass mentioned, unfortunately, Egyptian PayPal accounts cannot hold balance.  You can only use linked cards to make purchases. You can certainly create another account however, the options will still remain the same to everyone using PayPal in Egypt.
