A few days ago, I withdrawal money from Paypal to my bank account.
However, I waited for 4 days and nothing happened, so I contacted both my bank support and Paypal support.
Paypal support said due to the difference between the name in my bank account (First + Middle + Last name) and my Paypal name (First + Last Name), my transaction is on hold and will be returned to my Paypal balance. They also asked me to provide my ID card so they could update my name accordingly to match the bank account name. So I did take some photos of my ID card and upload them to Paypal for confirmation.
Now I just received an email saying that my name has changed to (First + Last name), which is basically the same one I'm using on Paypal and different from my bank account name? So nothing has changed.
What is this? Is this some kind of sick joke to prevent user from withdrawing their money?
