The merchant does not accept this card

On the final paypal checkout point, my card does not work its says 'the merchant does not accept this card'. I have an FNB (easy account). My paypal account is verified. I have confirmed my bank account. What does this mean and how do i fix this? South Africa

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to use the linked card to make payment, some of the merchant accepts only specific card for payment or specific bank account and if you want to place the order then please contact the merchant and check which mode of payment he accepts or try using different card.
