There is no such thing as a friends/family account as whether its f/f or not is dependent on how the funds are sent.
You have a personal account so your family can send you f/f payments by using the send money > put in your details > select f/f and not goods/services and continue > then they put in currency they want to send and the amount.
Not all countries have the friends/family option. Friends/family payments are normally free from bank accounts but the sender pays a fee for a card transaction. They may also pay cross border/currency conversion fees even if using their bank account.
Fees are in paypals user agreement on each countries site.
