I sent a payment through friends and family, but the person gave me the wrong email address. My only option is to contact the recipient and request a refund. But when I try to message them, I get a "You are unable to send this person a message." Does PayPal allow users to turn off messaging?
Well, I think I know what's going on. The person I mistakenly sent the money to must have blocked me after I sent a message explaining what happened and asking for a refund. They know I am relying on their honesty and sense of fairness, which they do not possess. What a scammer! Not ever going to send anything through friends and family again. Not worth it, trying to save someone from paying a nominal fee.
