Sent money to a friend. Money is now on a temporary hold. How temporary is this?

I sent money to a friend. She seems to have received it but now it's on temporary hold. How temporary is this? I don't understand what I did wrong. How do I solve this? ANy help would be appreciated, thank you. New to Paypal and it's very confusing.
