Sent money from PayPal to an old deactivated bank account number by mistake.

I mistakenly sent a huge amount to my old bank account number, which is no longer active because my bank issued a new account number. I thought I had updated it two years ago, but I didn't double-check and confidently sent the money.
Will the money bounce back to PayPal?

If the transfer fails then it should bounce back to your balance but you would be charged a failed transfer fee.
However speak to your bank first and see if they can still access it for you?
If not then allow 5-7 days and if no sign contact Paypal customer services for a trace.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you for replying. I received the money in my new bank account within two days. It appears that my bank redirected the funds.
