Seller unable to send refund

Hi there,

 

I raised a refund request to the seller and raised a dispute to two of my recent transactions but as per the seller, he's unable to make a refund to one of the transactions. Can someone from the support team take my dispute in person and help me resolve this issue? Or if there is any support email where I can contact PayPal team directly?

  4. Click Dispute a payment.
  5. Click Message Us after “This information might help” box.
  6. You may also request to speak with a human in your message as well.

Pay Pal

I had something similar happen today. The company I have a dispute with said my funds were frozen by PayPal and they cannot refund my money . They can "only give a refund after the funds are unfrozen". They want me to drop/cancel  my PayPal complaint/appeal.  I don't believe that would be true.

 

Pay Pal can a company refund my money during the resolution phase? 

 

The company even offered me a free gift for my trouble, how nice but it will probably never come if I drop my case. I just want my money back.

I would like to add this information to my case if needed is that an option or should I just wait.

Please advise.

Hello @blackkeybull, Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

 

I'm sorry to hear you have a dispute open and have not been refunded. When the funds are held because of a dispute a merchant has the option to offer a full or partial refund to you. If they offer a full refund the dispute or claim will be closed immediately. If you close a case before the money is refunded, the case cannot be reopened. Do not close your dispute if they offer a refund after it is cancelled as the merchant can cancel it from their end and fully refund you
