I have someone saying I have to pay $56 for a 'Payroll company registration' to receive money from them, is this correct or a scam? They've even sent me a screenshot showing a line stating Transactions processing... 70% and then under that "Payroll company registration $56.00" This is so I can receive money from this person, is this a scam? As I didn't think my free account needed to pay anything to receive payment?
This is a scam. Friends and family transactions are free and even if you send as goods and services which I just made the mistake of doing PayPal would take the fee directly out of the payment.
