Hello @Lucyvonem,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know that your authorization was rejected. Authorization is an agreement between you and a merchant to purchase an item for a specific amount of money. In this situation, it is possible that there could be an issue with your card issuer. In this case, I would recommend you to contact your Financial Institution to confirm that there are no issue and try again at a later time. If the issue still persist, check the Resolution Center to see if there are any notifications about your account status. If not, you can contact our Customer Support Team through the available contact options on our website. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Customer Support by sending a DM on Twitter or Instagram or a PM on Facebook

Regards,

Ayesha
