I've Refunded a payment from an unknown sender, what do I do now because I'm now sensing it's a scam

If the refund has completed then nothing you can do unfortunately.
Without more details of any scam hard to advise.
However be aware when you issue a refund the fee you may have been charged when you accepted the payment is not returned as part of any refund issued.
Advice is voluntary.
