How do I request a refund via paypal? I made a transaction to send funds to friends/family, where the recipient can't login to his paypal account

Welcome to the PayPal Community!

If you have the option to request a refund, you will see it on the details page of the transaction. I see you've stated that the funds were sent using our 'Friends and Family' option. In most cases, you will not see an option to request a refund when the funds are sent this way. If you friend is having trouble logging in to their account, I suggest having them reach out to us for additional assistance. They can contact our Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal website page.
