Requested return of $200 three weeks ago with no response. Transaction U-0J973000U08692613. This was sent by mistake to the wrong person (same name as my son)

A refund may be determined on how you sent the funds / what it says on the transaction on your PayPal account and how you funded the PayPal payment.

Initially the transfer was to come from my bank but was declined so PayPal sent it from my Visa credit card.

I am sorry to know that funds were sent to a different person and have requested for a refund. I understand this can be concerning. Please be informed that if you have sent money through friends and family payment options regrettably, these kind of payments are not covered with PayPal Buyer Protection and cannot be disputed. In this case, you may contact your Financial Institution to know possible options to get your funds back. If you have made a payment using Good and Services as your payment option, then you will need to contact the merchant for a refund. Since, the receiver is not responding, you may report the charges through the Resolution Center so that our concerned team would look into the case and help you accordingly with potential ways to have this resolved. As far as I am concerned this is a lost cause to try anything more to retrieve my $200.

The Visa company investigated this and will not credit my account due to no fraud being found.

The money was sent to the wrong Jeffrey [removed] by mistake. PayPal has 20 listed.

I have tried to contact him numerous times for a refund but he is being dishonest and doesn't even reply.

I hope he is enjoying the money I sent him. He will pay for this in the end, I guarantee it.
