Refund from pay in 3

Why am I only getting a partial refund when I return item from a pay in 3?

Ask the merchant you purchased from why they didn't process you that full refund?

I am trying to sort a refund on a Pay in 3 transaction as item not recieved and supplier not responding to any form of contact. I made the mistake of asking for a refund for the first payment which I made assuming that the remaining payments would be cancelled. Apparently I should have asked for the whole amount. Waiting on a resolution now but just flagging this up to save anyone else the hassle hopefully.
