Receiving Donations

Hi .... I'm collecting Christmas donations for our staff here from US snowbirds.  I usually use Western Union and make trips to the bank.  I thought releasing funds to my single bank account would make life easy.  All incoming funds are being put on hold for weeks.  I have to mark that I have delivered goods in a non-physical form.  Release of the hold will take weeks!  Besides using PayPal for this, have I done something incorrectly? Funds arriving today won't be released until after Xmas.  Ughhh!!!!

It sounds like the payments you're receiving are subject to payment holds and the applies to all PayPal accounts.
