'REV PAYPAL PAYMENT' transaction deducted my refund amount from my bank!

Long story short, I got a refund of about $67 from a website a few days back but a day later I get this 'REV PAYPAL PAYMENT' entry in my bank statement which just took back the money I got. (19th dec)
 I didnt know what had happened so I got in touch with the website and they claim that my funds were not taken by them and that it must have been held by PayPal for whatever reasons. 

I tried looking it up in my paypal transaction history and its not shown anywhere so it just confirmed that my money was not sent to anyone in particular.

If so, can anyone please tell me when I might get back my money?  Ive got bills to pay.

If you funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.

I used my Debit card through paypal. So it was almost instant! 

The seller said that the transaction was incomplete and that Paypal was holding my funds. 

Since Paypal reversed the refund and its only showing in my bank transactions history not in paypal, I would like to know 

1. Will I get back my money?

2. How long will it take Paypal to give me back my money?

I do understand your concern about the refund reversal in your bank account. When there's no funds retrieved from your funding source, and the refund is processed towards the transaction, it will be reversed to PayPal. As you mentioned that you paid using your debit card, I suggest you to review your card statement to see if the debit was processed successfully to PayPal on the payment date. If you see successful debit in your card but no reversal, please reach out to the support team to get this checked further.

Im sorry what??? Can you translate it please, I cant comprehend technical terms.

I just wanted to know im ever getting back the money that Paypal stole from me.

My bank statement shows that "REV PURCHASE PAYPAL UPLOAD PAYM.." transaction on 19 December that took back the refund I got. I cant see that in my Paypal activity? So does that mean my funds are somewhere in between my bank and paypal? 

If so, when can I expect it to be refunded?

I tried that, unfortunately the only support Ive been able to get there was from a bot and thats not very helpful...at all. How do I reach out to a human being that works for Paypal who can actually help me?

I am also have problem like this, i am try to purchasing few vinyl record but not in real good internet connection, my money already deducted from my bank account and Iam also got the pre authorization payment notification on my paypal account, after some time, pre authorization message just vanished but still no action. I ask the seller but they not received any money from paypal transaction on their system under my email address ( I am only use one email address for my paypal and my account in their webshop). When I log into my account in their webshop, it's keep showing no order history which I am think the order never successful. And my money still deducted from my bank account until now. What can I do to get the money back? Please help.
