Problem with payment

Hello,

 

I payed for a product on Friday using a credit card, this morning it showed on the card that the payment was now gone but the seller has still not retrieved it and in order to send the product he needs the payment. Tried the help center and they said I need to confirm receipt to release the funds to the seller but there is no confirm receipt button and ive not yet received the product as the payment has not gone to the seller yet.

 

Anyone know whats going on? Really need to get this sorted asap

Hello @DavidOC93, Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

 

It sounds like the payment has been placed on hold. We may place a temporary hold on some transactions if the seller is new to selling with PayPal, if a dispute has been filed on the payment, or if we have questions regarding any transaction history or account information.
