Hi,
I made the mistake of purchasing some software from a company that appears to be using shady business tactics. When I purchased the product they setup a recurring charge for the software which wasn't made clear on the purchase page. Also there was no way to access my account on their site to cancel the recurring charge, I did cancel it in Paypal. But then I received a charge for a second recurring payment for "Technical Support" which I definitely did not agree to. I have set both recurring payments to "Inactive" in my Paypal account but I'm afraid that they will add another one since they've already added an additional one since my original transaction. Is there a way to block a merchant from adding recurring payments? Or is there a way to at least get alerts when a new recurring payment is added to my account? Thanks for any help.
