Paypal, waiting 21days!

Hi,my friend sent me a larger of money from another country and I waited 21 days. I want to ask if you could help me.

Did they have the option to send it using friends/family and can you accept friends/family payments in your country?

If they couldn't OR failed to do so then it would have been received as a goods/services payment as per links below.

yea i can receive family/friends payments. but according to what I found out, paypal can hold my money for a maximum of 21 days. so I don't understand it.

Didn't you read the links. The hold only applies to goods/services payments.

So as I have already said your friend either doesn't have that option OR didn't use it.

yes I read it, I have a verified account and other things mentioned there, and yes my friend has the option and used it. that's why I'm confused and I don't know how to solve it.

Well they didn't use it or you would not have the 21 days hold.

Friends/family payments are normally reviewed within 24 hours.

To get your funds sooner read the last link I posted?
