Paypal suddenly won't let me pay for things from my bank account

It used to let me use my savings account if there's no PayPal balance. Now, it doesn't. There's no point in having this if I can't do this.

Sorry to know that you're not able to make payments using your bank account. Each time you initiate a transaction, it goes through a series of filters for possible risk. If the system detects risk, it may limit the payment options or temporarily block the activity. In such situations, you can try to complete the payment at a later date by clearing the cookies, history, cache, etc. from your browser or try using a different browser/device.

No, it doesn't help. And seriously, I shouldn't have to work this hard to use a service. I have spent over 20 hours in the last week trying to fix this. I cancelled the debit card and the only reason I am leaving the regular account open is because I have settlements that are supposed to post to it.

Thanks for responding back! Apologies for the inconvenience you've experienced. PayPal continuously focus on enhancing product offerings to help customers take their money further. If you’re referring about PayPal Debit Card, the option for customers to use a linked bank account or card to automatically fund their PayPal debit card transactions has been removed. Currently, with PayPal Debit Mastercard you can be able to utilize funds held in the PayPal balance to fund transactions. If there's no sufficient balance, you can add money from your linked bank/card to fund the payment.
