Payments being declined

Many of my clients can’t pay PayPal invoices,  they get a message saying “this transaction has been declined due to international regulations”   I am in Australia and so are they.  Why dipoles this happen?

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues receiving payments through PayPal. If your sender is receiving that error while you and the sender are in Australia, I would recommend having the sender reach out to our Customer Support teams to dive into what other issues may be causing this kind of error.
