Payment sent to wrong PayPal

I recently sold an item to a buyer online through an auction. Somehow the buyer sent the payment to someone's else's account by mistake. After gathering what info I could and contacting the account owner that received my payment the owner of the account that received payment will not cooperate and give me my payment. I've already shipped the product out to the buyer What can I do to fix this

This is not your fault/problem, and nothing you can do in regards to the payment error.

 

The buyer themselves has to contact the recipient email address found in the PayPal payment transaction details to request a refund or they can open a PayPal dispute as item not received against that recipient which shouldn’t prevent buyer from still paying you for their order, which they should, since you already shipped it....or you can intercept the package at the post office to get it back.

 

Never ship until you see payment in your account!
