Payment received so registered account to claim then “Transaction no longer exist”

They said to contact sender, so I did and was told the transaction is pending to be claimed for 30 days and they haven’t cancel it. So I asked Paypal agent on FB to help me sort this out. If the transaction is indeed pending then help me claim it or if it was denied so that I can inform the sender to resend to whatever. They literally said they do not know the status of the transaction and that I should ask sender to send payment again but seriously who would do that unless the first one is properly cancel. Apart of that, there’s nothing they can do.

Check the email address the payment has been sent to is the correct one that is linked and verified on your paypal account + the sender didn't make a spelling error or typo.

It is correct, I signed up by going the link Paypal sent to my email. It couldn’t be something as crazy as all the letter is in capital is it?
