So back on Oct. 6, I loaned my Dad $600. My payment to him was received within minutes and he transferred to his back. Now he has repaid me and it's been pending payment since Oct. 13. It is listed as a refund though. He says the money has left his account but has NOT appeared in my PP account yet? Why is this money still pending and where is my money at? This is entirely too long to be waiting in this amount of cash!
1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.
2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
