Payment on hold

Hello I processed payments to my best friend since I owe him money, I transferred money to him but it appears to his end money on hold, how are we going to make the my available. I choose family/ friends upon transferring money. Please help me.

I apologize for the trouble the hold has caused. PayPal may place a hold on funds for a variety of reasons, but you may have options to help release the funds sooner than the standard 21 days hold time. Here's a great Help Center article on Why my Payment is on Hold and How to Release my Payment on Hold. If the payment was processed via Friends and Family, the transaction might be held for internal security reasons. You can certainly contact our customer support team through the contact option available on our website to know the reason for the hold. Before you reach out to them, make sure to check the status and payment type.
