Payment on hold, Not abled edit tracking details

Hi, My payment is on hold,
payment is for the service that I already provided and not for goods, so there is no way to add tracking details,

I am new to the platform, and for this transaction,  By mistake, I added status of tracking as  'order processed' instead of of 'shipped',
Now I am unable to edit it.
Please provide the help in this situation.
Will I receive payment? or it will be sent back?

Thanks for reply,

When I click on Edit Tracking Info, The page shows:
"Looks like something not right"
"That's an invalid tracking number."
ang the Back Button.

since there is no tracking id so not able to edit the status of order.
what are the available options here?

Why don't you actually read the link i posted.

If you are not sending an item in the post trackable to prove delivery then of course there won't be a tracking number to input.

Read the link for SERVICES.

How can I release my payment(s) on hold?

Log in to your account to see if you can help to release your payments on hold. If you don’t have this option, we’ll hold your payment for up to 21 days.

You may be able to release eligible payments by following one of the below steps: 

  1. Add Tracking. Use one of our approved shipping carriers and we’ll release the hold approximately 24 hours after the courier confirms delivery to the buyer’s address. 
  2. Update the order status if the held payment is for a service or intangible item (e.g., piano lessons, e-book). We'll release the hold 7 days after you confirm the order status as Completed.

In rare cases, after these steps are completed, we may need to hold the payment for up to 21 days. For example, this can happen if we notice an unusual change in your selling patterns.

To add tracking information or update an order status: 

  1. Go to your Activity
  2. Find the  purchase  you  want  to update  and  click  Get your money. If you sold a product, choose “Product” to add tracking information or print a shipping label. If you sold an intangible item or service, choose “Service or virtual product” to update the order status. You can update the order status to Completed, Pending, or Cancelled.  

HOWEVER if you somehow clicked to add a tracking number that you did not have then you may not be able to go back and change it.

Thank you, So Will I get the payment after 21 days ? if nothing changes and everything will remain same. Or will get back to sender??

Yes of course you will get it after 21 days. That's the longest that they hold the funds.

It would show as paid on the senders side and any hold is between you and Paypal and nothing to do with the sender/buyer.
