Payment not completing - Oops error message

Message received from PayPal after payment attempt - 

"Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again. "   

Can someone give me an idea of why this occurs?  Server down?  Cookies?  etc.

Thank you for posting in the PayPal Community Forum. 

 

I am sorry to see you are having issues sending a payment, I appreciate how concerning this must be. First of all, I would ask that you ensure your email address is confirmed. Please also ensure you have a funding source (bank/card) added to your account and confirmed: How do I add a bank account to my PayPal account? & How do I add a credit card to my PayPal account?

 

If there are limitations stopping you from sending money, you would find these on your Resolution Center after selecting 'Go To Account Limitations'.

 

Finally, I would ask that you check the following link: How do I confirm my identity? (CIP) (paypal.com) to ensure we aren't requesting that you confirm your identity first.

This is happening to me too and all my stuff is confirmed.. No limitations.
