PayPal is telling me that my new MasterCard debit card is not eligible for any kind of transfer.

I was recently provided with a new UniCredit MasterCard debit card by my bank, because they stopped doing business with Visa, my previous card provider, and switched over entirely to MasterCard. However PayPal is now telling me that my card is not eligible for transfers. I called my bank and they are stumped, leading me to conclude this is a PayPal issue. What can I do? This is urgent as PayPal is my only source of income as an artist.

In some countries you can only withdraw to a visa so best check the requirements in your country?
