PayPal didn't use my preferred payment method for a large transaction.

I made a payment and PayPal went through without asking me how I want to pay. My preferred payment is set to my Credit Card (just double checked, it is). Instead it used my bank account and is pulling over $1k from my bank that I was not expecting. Can I get PayPal to redirect this payment to my credit card while it's still processing? This is an AirBnB payment, if it matters.

You can't change a processing payment unfortunately.
What does it say on the transaction in your paypal account?
If its pending on your paypal account you may be able to call your bank to stop the echeque going through.
However if its marked as sent / completed then paypal have paid the seller upfront and if you cancel the echeque your balance in paypal will go into negative until you pay them back again.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
