PayPal denied my dispute and my appeal incorrectly.

Dear PayPal communtity,

 

I have joined this community today to hopefully get a truthful response from PayPal regarding my ongoing dispute. I ordered an Iphone 15 pro from Costco on the 28/11/23, and it arrived at my flat on the 04/12/23. Upon arrival the Iphone was missing from the sealed packaging, so I immediately rang and emailed Costco, yet I was repeatedly directed to their Voicemail. It was unsuccessful trying to contact Costco, so I raised a dispute with PayPal. Costco then replied to my message via the PayPal case and stated that if I sent back the packaging to the Costco warehouse in Watford I would receive my refund. I have done this and proved it with Royal Mail receipts and a Screenshot of a tracking page. I was told by PayPal this was not valid proof and have been denied a refund and the case was won in Costco's favour. I even wrote an appeal and proved that I sent the item with more photos of the tracking receipt and this was denied again. I am disgusted by PayPal's customer service, how they operate an international business and deal with transaction disputes like this is horrendous. I work two honest jobs and would not waste a month of my life to try and scam a smartphone, if this is what PayPal is suggesting. I am seriously considering never using Paypal again and reporting this to the relevant authorities if I am not reimbursed with the money and time wasted. 

 

I will also provide all screenshots and links of tracking numbers and receipts to prove that I am not imagining any of this.

Appeal?

 

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

Failing that take Costco to the small claims court?
