my friend sent me some money, however he did not send this as a friends and family payment, instead the money he was sent was at first available and was letting me use this, however about an hour after it stopped allowing me to use the funds and has now gone to -198 from £400. I am now unable to access the funds and unsure of what to do now as it wont even let me refund a smaller amount so that i can send back to him for him to return it back to me under the correct category. I advised him to do this at first however since he new best when i told him this would happen my funds are now locked in this state when i need access to them. Can someone please help me with this would be greatly appreciated.

3: How long have you known this individual?
I would be contacting PayPal support in any event. ( www.paypal.com > "help" > scroll down to "contact us" click that and submitting your inquiry there. They would be better able to assist you as to what is going on with your account and the charges associated with it.
