My debit card is declined

Hai, please help me. I did a confirmation on my card before and already got the code from the card statement. And then as I was trying to pay for my purchase using paypal They asked me to link a card again. When I tried my card got declined. Do mind that I never made a purchase using my paypal before. Thank you.

After you added the card did you confirm it with that code?
