My client could not confirm the receipt of transaction because there is no "confirm" button

I received a payment from offering a service. I was told that I have to add tracking to release my fund sooner. I updated my order status into "hold". Then, I got a message that it will be released yesterday, but until today my fund is still on hold. I asked the client again about it, and she told me that she received the order status but there was NO BUTTON to click for er to confirm the receipt. Did I update the status incorrectly? and if I did, is there any way to edit the first order status I set? Thank you!
