My balance is not updated

Hello, so here's the thing, a company sent me a payment to my Paypal and it said it was delivered but I didn't receive update on my Paypal, my balance remain the same as before. Usually when it was delivered I'll receive the money right away, but this time it wasn't like that. They also have references id for that payment but idk if I can track them. Does that means the money is delayed to my Paypal? How long does it take until I receive the money on my Paypal? Should I wait for some days? Oh right I also didn't receive any email about this payment to my Paypal, they use trolley so I know it was delivered.

As you haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately its hard for us to advise. You also haven't advised account 'type' or country of the sender.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.
