My Savings bank account type is set to Checking

I have been using paypal with no issue for around a year now, but recently when I tried using it to purchase, it gives me the option to select a payment method but my bank has stopped showing in the list. Because of this, all my subscriptions have been cancelled as well and I couldn't renew any of them. I also installed the paypal app to see if it changed anything, to discover that the account type is set to "checking" but also the statues is confirmed.

There wasn't an option to set it as a checking or savings account so I'm asking if this is the issue and/or what to do to help me so I can use my bank account through paypal again.

SAME PROBLEM. CANNOT CHANGE MY CHECKING / CURRENT A/C TO SAVINGS A/C, WHICH IS MY USUAL ACCOUNT TYPE. ALSO CANNOT LINK MY RUPAY GLOBAL DEBIT CARD DESPITE PUTTING "DISCOVER" AS THE CARD TYPE AND FILLING IN EXPIRY DETAILS AND ACCOUNT NUMBER CORRECTLY. MANY HERE SAY THAT KEEPING IT AS CHECKING / CURRENT DOES NOT HARM. I DUNNO FOR SURE

can't change from checking/current a/c to savings a/c, which is my actual a/c type; can't add Rupay Global Debit card despite putting DISCOVER as the card type and keeping the billing address same as the bank a/c address and puting all expiry details and card number correctly. i'm from india
