Money taken no confirmation

Purchased from ebay, PayPal confirmed the payment but on redirect back to ebay it said "there was a problem please try again" money has been deducted from my payment card but no transaction confirmed with ebay and no activity in my PayPal account. Now I can't try to make the purchase again because the money has been withdrawn.

Check if the funds return to your card after a few days and if not speak to your card issuer.
