Hi! I’ll make this quick, any help gratefully received! Received some money “on hold” in error from Miss X purporting to be someone I sold sthg to last month on EBay. She’s been hassling me to refund it, and I’ve tried to assure her once (or if?!) it arrives in my account, I will refund it. Is this fishy?
If you refund before the funds are released then you may have to fund the refund via funds in your bank account.
Tell her it was her mistake so she waits until funds are cleared.
Then make sure you use the refund option, also minus any fee you were charged when you received the payment as that amount is not returned as part of any refund that you make.
