Money sent but not received, recipient has no balance and gets "transaction does not exist" message

My account and baking shows that a payment through my credit card was successfully sent. However, my recipient has an account balance of $0 and got the message "transaction does not exist" when he tried to receive the money. What went went and how do I fix this?

What does it say on the transaction on your paypal account?

What country is the recipient in?

Which account type does the recipient have?

Did you use goods/services or friends/family.

i have a similar case as well can u help? is there any case that the sender has successfully made a payment by friend and family and the recipient has recieved it but turn out it not in his balance yet? i did Friend and family

USA used goods and services but it was cash to my daughter recipient has similar email

If it was sent using goods/services then open a dispute for non receipt of item and when you are able escalate to a claim.

If the recipient is unable to provide a tracking number showing delivery of the item to you (non-existent item) then you should get a refund.
