Money on hold

I sold an item to someone in Ohio. He sent the money and PayPal showed the money on hold. I provided shipping info and the PayPal account said the money would be available the day after delivery. The item was delivered on Friday 3/4. I still don't have my money. How long does it take.

Funds are normally released when tracking shows online that the item has been delivered to the buyer + 1 day as long as you used one of Paypals supported carriers.
If completed and no funds are released then contact c.s. and request manual release of funds.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

So you added the tracking number to the PayPal transaction details, so it shows up there and you can click the link to track the item?  That shows delivered, but you still haven't received the release of funds..??  

According to their documentation on this they release it 24 hours after the courier confirmed delivery, which does usually happen in my experience, although I have seen it take longer.

You could ask the buyer to log in on their side, and in the transaction details they'd see a link to verify they received their item.  If they verify it this way it should release your funds right away.

Otherwise, I would say it should happen soon.  The max time they'd hold is 21 days.
