Money on hold and can't see the refund

Hello,

I sent money oversea for a service but I made a mistake that I included the shipping address. The recipient's account is rarely used so the money is on hold. Now the seller refunded the money so that I can use a different payment method but I haven't seen the refund. The seller shared with me the screenshot that the refund could take a long as until July as Paypal status said. I can't pay with the new method until I get the refund and I don't know when I will. The money was taken out immediately but I can't get the money back. Should I wait for a few more days or contact CS?

That is rubbish, once a refund is issued the refund shows in your paypal activity and you get an email to say the refund has been issued.

Once marked as completed in your paypal activity the longest it takes is 30 days to go back to your card you funded your paypal payment with.

How did you send the funds? Was it friends/family or goods/services?
