Many receipts - What exactly am I paying for?

I have many receipts. I'm not always sure why I was charged. How can I relate charges to the merchant?

Reconcile by your PayPal transactions/monthly statement, PayPal and merchant web shop email receipts and your bank account/card statements by date/amount.
