Is right way to recieve money to send the other person my link?

I understand you are referring to receive money, 

With PayPal, you receive money when someone sends a payment to your email address or mobile number. Once that happens, we’ll send you a message letting you know you have money available.

You can access the money you receive on your PayPal account home page. You can then choose to:

• Transfer it to your bank account, or
• Keep it in your balance to send money to friends and family or to shop online

You can send a Money Request to anyone with an email address. When the Money Request is paid, the money is added to your PayPal account balance.

Here’s how to send a Money Request:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Send & Request near the top of the page.
3. Click the Request tab at the top.
4. Enter a name, email address or mobile number and click Next.
5. Enter the amount and select the currency.
6. Select the request type.
7. Enter a note (optional.)
8. Review your request and click Request Now.

Tips:

• We email the recipient your Money Request.
• We email you when the Money Request is paid.
