Insufficient funds in account, despite transaction completing

Hi I recently made a flight purchase using PayPal and thought I had set it up to take from my credit card. I’ve seen the transaction has completed. Since then my bank have text me to say insufficient funds for transaction and now I see the amount taken (and then refunded) from my current account. I’ve logged onto PayPal and changed the preferred payment as my credit card. The transaction still displays as completed. My question: 1) Will PayPal reattempt payment from my new card 2) Will PayPal cancel the transaction once it’s been market as completed? I’m a little concerned as my flight is on Monday.

Normally when you make a transaction paypal will pay the vendor upfront and they will wait for any processing bank transfers.

They may try again in a few days and put your paypal account into negative OR they may try any back up card you have linked to your paypal account.

You can give them a call to ask them to complete it from your card?
