I was paid twice

I have only used Paypal for friend transactions. I am not a business or seller of anything.

I was just paid twice by a friend.

They accidentally forgot to check 'Friends & Family' so immediately repeated the transaction with F&F checked.

I have not accepted either in fact I can not as Paypal wants my SSN to release any of the funds.

The payee says there is NO cancel option next to the transaction record and I see no cancel option either.

If its not showing on your paypal account balance because you have not accepted your first goods/services payment yet then it should show as unclaimed on the senders side.

If it remains unclaimed it would time out at 30 days and go back to your friend.
