I requested money from a buyer who asked for my email address. What should I do?

I requested money from a buyer and they asked for my email address. Should I give it to them?

If you sent them a money request then they don't need your email address.

The reason they are asking for it maybe because its a scam and they need your email address to send you 'fake' paypal emails.

Proceed with extreme caution and post back if you need more advice.

Thanks. Now, they have paid me and my options are to 1) Add tracking, 2) to print a mailing label or, 3) Issue a refund. My inclination is to issue a refund then block any more contact. Would that be appropriate and how would I do that?

If the payment is showing in your paypal balance and your paypal activity then they may be ok.

They could have just asked for your email address just for contact reasons.

If you want to go ahead with the sale that is up to you however if you issue a refund you won't get the 'fee' element back as part of that refund so to issue a full refund you would need more funds in your balance than just the buyers payment or the rest would come from your bank account.
