If you have added money to your PayPal balance using Multibank twice but haven't seen the funds reflected yet, it's may still be processing and could take a few business days to appear in your account. You can double-check your bank details for accuracy and reach out to the Support Team during business hours to get further help. 

 

If your unable to login or are not in access of your PayPal account, you can connect with us via phone call as "as a Guest" (this does not require you to sign in to your PayPal account).

I'm also in Portugal, used my home-banking website to Top Up yesterday (November 10), and Paypal Balance hasnt changed.

 

I tried with two bank accounts, both showed successful payment to the Entity whose number is given when you choose Top Up. It's usually instant but it's been almost 24h and paypal balance remains unchanged.

 

Currently, when I press Top Up (Add Money to Multibanco), this message is displayed at the top of the screen:

"Notice: payments are currently delayed and it might take up to 1 working day to receive your payment placed on your PayPal account."

Having the same issue..and it has been two working days ago now. New to this whole paypal thing and it is a bit concerning you see money leave your account, but not showing up anywhere, so you can't see the status of your transfer to your paypal account, when it arrives later then it should have, if it will even arrive at all...

Thanks for the welcome. The issue has been, somewhat, resolved, as the money was (finally) put into my paypal account this morning. It is sad however, to notice "instant" top ups are sometimes instant and sometimes take up to two working days (and maybe more) to appear into your paypal account, with no information on where the money is in the process or any documentation/registration in the paypal app a transfer has been made or is underway when it comes to these top ups. Anyway, getting used to this service. It has its advantages but there sure is room for improvements.

I have been using Paypal since two-thousand-eleven and this was the first time I had to wait for a Top Up to reach my balance.

 

It took only a few hours for costumer service to clarify there was a delay from Multibanco side due to ongoing maintenance.
